What are your responsibilities at Heffler?
As the Director of the Contact Center, my responsibilities include setting up our toll-free phone lines, creating and running our interactive voice response (IVR) services, problem-solving for counsel and class members, and managing the contact center team.
What is the most interesting aspect of your job?
My job is different ever day. From fielding calls from class members to building and testing phone lines, I rarely know exactly what the day will bring.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I'll be married 11 years in June to my best friend Ali, who is a fifth grade teacher and yoga instructor. I have three children: Posie, a dancer and gymnast, Jake, who loves baseball, and Weez, who loves soccer.
I love running, swimming, biking, and yoga. I'm a big Phillies fan. I love cooking at home and just hanging around the house with my family. I also love spending time on the baseball and soccer fields watching my kids have fun.
What is something that would surprise people about you?
I'm a plant-based guy who meditates as much as I can. My 30 lb dog Skippy runs every mile of every day with me, about 120-130 miles a month.
What motivates you?
"I had an equipment manager in college. He had been at Michigan for 25 years or something. He's got so many Big Ten rings, I mean, he doesn't have enough fingers for all the rings he's got. He said, 'You know, Tom. You know what my favorite ring is?' And I said, 'Which one's that?' He goes, 'The next one.' And now that's what I think. The next one." - Tom Brady
"I'm different than most people. When I cross the finish line of a big race, I see that people are ecstatic, but I'm thinking about what I'm going to do tomorrow. It's as if my journey is everlasting, and there is no finish line." - David Goggins
What do you like most about working at Heffler?
I work with a really great team who make it easy and fun to come to work every day.
